one piece elbaf epic tragedy just came out and with it a major part of a theory that I just dropped this last week was confirmed because this chapter confirmed that the tree at the center of Elath is in fact the adom tree which many readers may know as the treasure tree Adam but in reality the more descriptive explanation of what the Adam tree was was a tree on an island once marked by continuous War as various people and Nations fought over it and nations would rise and fall and be rebuilt around it the theory that I just
Is Elbaf arc coming?
dropped this week explaining that elb was once the focal point of war in the void Century as people went there to battle over safe ground as the flooding began was centered around the idea that the tree at the Is Elbaf arc coming?center of elbaf was the same Adam tree a tree at the center of an island marked by War as various Nations and people fought over it and it was only at the end of the Void Century that the Giants were finally able to win out amongst all other nations and take over the land and Ne it elb now the major support of this Theory being true
What is the most epic episode in One Piece?
and why so much of that theory that I made centered around the idea that this tree at the center has to be the atom tree was that if you read the description of the atom tree it is very clear that it is people who once fought over the atom tree and that Nations fought here and were destroyed and rebuilt over and over again meaning that this was a tree in a constant state of flux and human beings people once fought over it What is the most epic episode in One Piece? meaning that this was not always the nation of elath the fact that this was just confirmed to be that very same
Did Big Mom destroy Elbaf?
Adam tree confirms that this island of elb was not always the homeland of the Giants but rather various Nations and various people fought over here all going back to the point that during the void Century of Did Big Mom destroy Elbaf? course this would have turned into a warland because in the void Century of course there would have been a battle over safe ground once the flooding began and of course the Towering atom tree would have turned into a focal point of War for all nations and people across the world just because the Giants the strongest race
one piece elbaf ARC Loki
one piece elbaf ARC Loki ultimately won that battle doesn’t change the bloody history of all Nations and people fighting over the atom tree in the past I encourage you to check out this video for far greater detail in terms of what happened there at the void Century because it gives strong hints as to what the future of elb is once the flooding begins again and the final war kicks off in the current story there is a reason that we are here at elb an island themed around War at the start of the final war because this is where Ragnarok will Begin Again again go watch

the winners for last week’s chapter predictions Goomba boomba correctly predicted that Luffy would tame a giant wolf this chapter so congrats and if you would like to compete to try and predict the next chapter just tune in to next break week’s chapters prediction contest and get your prediction in so with that of course I was happy to read this chapter because it strongly supported what I posited this very week but aside from that a major aspect of what I loved about this chapter was my favorite Luffy
and new character interaction that we’ve had in God knows how long Loki is quickly shaping up to be one of the most unique characters in the entire story and right off the bat he has established one of the most unique character dynamics that we’ve ever seen with Luffy period This is the first character we’ve ever had who is in a sense matching Luffy in terms of Luffy but just with his own sort of slightly more evil and malicious slant the sharp parallels of natural desire for Freedom the befriending and Taming of vicious
animals and most notably Loki stealing Luffy’s gimmick of misnaming other characters but this time doing it to Luffy himself that was one of my favorite little interactions that I’ve ever seen in one piece just seeing Luffy being on the receiving end of someone else just casually misnaming him without a care in the world and most interestingly we have Loki believing that he is now the sun god or set to play the role of the Sun God just as Luffy is the actual Sun God and in that sense you look at Loki and what are the
defining characteristics about him we see that he is a smiling Warrior centered around Liberation much like the description of NAA it’s just that Loki seems to have a far more Sinister slant to it so Loki is set to be a very important foil to Luffy throughout this Arc and whatever role he ends up playing throughout the arc I think is set to be one of the most unpredictable and interesting ones that we’ve ever seen very fitting for somebody who seems Luffy esque in certain ways now obviously while these Luffy esque traits
make Loki quite likable in some ways at the same time he has this far more malicious side to him he promises Luffy that if you let me free I will go out and Crush whoever I want for you and what’s extremely interesting about this that I think most have not picked up on is that we’ve already been talking about the significant parallels between Loki’s introduction and zor’s introduction it’s continuing in this chapter as well because what Loki promises Luffy is that if you free me I’ll go out and crush a
pirate crew that you want which is the exact same promise Zoro gave when Luffy found him tied up and bound to a cross Zoro promised Luffy if you free me I’ll go out and I’ll hunt some pirates for you just as Oda is paralleling Loki to Luffy in many ways Oda is making some very sharp and unique parallels to Zoro as well what the purpose of those parallels are and where that’s set to go who knows but at this point I can’t deny that there is some degree of possibility to Zoro versus Loki at some point down
the line because the parallels are just very very on the nose I would also add that based on talking to people on stream the possibility that considering Loki doesn’t seem to be that pure of an antagonist at this point maybe he’s set to play more of an anti-hero or sort of in between hero and villain role throughout the ark I feel like the possibility that Blackbeard swoops in and ultimately kills Loki to take his Sun God for and therefore play a counterpart role as a dark Sun God against Luffy and his own sun god fruit
in the final Saga I think that’s a strong possibility as well and I still think that kid has a very strong Darkhorse chance of ultimately being the one to take out Loki so every character that I listed out from the who will defeat Loki video I no longer believe that Luffy himself will find himself up against Loki as the main antagonist of the Ark maybe we get a skirmish between these two characters once Loki is inevitably freed but I think that will simply be to establish how strong Loki is I do not believe that Loki is set up
to be the final villain for to defeat in this Arc which again is what makes this Arc so exciting and goes back to the theory that I’ve been talking about which is that in elb itself Loki is the strongest Warrior it’s unlikely that Loki is the main antagonist of the Ark suggesting strongly that the true conflict of The Ark will be coming from the outside which makes a lot of sense because elath is an arc center around War the final war is set to kick off if Ragnarok is going to kick off anywhere it should kick off here all signs point
to war coming to elath although again you can get the full details in that video I strongly recommend you go check it out right now Loki also taunts Luffy by making fun of Shanks in front of him which of course just like back in chapter 1 prompts Luffy to get angry and you know fly into a rage and threaten to fight him and everything like that and interestingly the simple fact that Oda is establishing some sort of contrast or dynamic between Loki and Shanks that is soon to be developed further and that Oda is teasing shank’s involvement or
the secrets of what Shanks was doing in elath in this Arc also strongly reinforces that Shanks is very important to this Arc and that just makes a lot of sense considering everything about Shanks has hinted from a long time back that elb is going to be his storyline even if he has departed from the island at the moment that does not mean that the narrative isn’t going to bring him back for the meat of the Ark it’s just that having Shanks around from the very beginning would be fairly distracting and make us not really that interested
in what’s going on in the giant’s Village when we’d be more interested in seeing Luffy and shank’s reunion Usopp and yasu’s reunion Etc it’s simply too early for Shanks to arrive but all signs point to Shanks being a major pivotal focus of this Arc in fact the teams of elath that are currently developing and the entire messaging and thematic purpose of Shanks in the story in general are intrinsically tied together which is something that I’ll be breaking down in great detail in next week’s
video so watch out for that but after taunting Luffy regarding Shanks Loki does make Luffy an interesting proposition which is that he will tell Luffy about what’s going on with Shanks if Luffy goes and gets a key that will free him now knowing Luffy this is the perfect setup for Luffy to go ahead and do this crazy thing because Luffy doesn’t know or really worry about the consequences it’s a classic setup wherein first we have in chapter 1,130 all these Giants talking and hyping up and explaining why Loki is such a big
deal and why it would be such a terrible Calamity and the end of the world if Loki were to be released and then in the very next chapter you have Luffy just casually being like oh you want me to go get a key to free you because then you’ll tell me about Shanks you’ll very likely probably do it without thinking once about what’s actually going to be the consequences of doing this action it’s just typical Luffy storytelling to basically establish one big thing that nobody should ever do because it’ be
really really bad and then Luffy cashu just goes and does it anyway because that’s just the way Luffy works so I’m very much looking forward to that happening hopefully next in the next couple of chapters because I really do want Loki to be freed and see how he acts once he is freed and hopefully get a glimpse of his fruit really really soon now as for the rest of the chapter we kind of just check off the fact that okay the other strats are headed upwards towards the main part of the giant village and then we’ve got huden and
stansen having taken care of a moose huden is confirmed moose level what an impressive giant you’ve got his brother downstairs Loki with a 2.6 billion ber Bounty had Ruden the other prince on the other hand and who got one-shotted by dress r at gear second Luffy who barely defeated mock going extreme difficulty with him and who now has been shown to need a buddy just to be able to help carry a moose back to the Village truly a giant worthy of becoming the next king of elath I have no further words for HUD
Ruden and finally we have the Robin and Saul setup all I’ve got to say is this I’m going to save all my thoughts and feelings regarding Saul because it is just too much for for a future review and future chapter discussion and probably honestly a full video breakdown because because it is just so absurd to talk about and every time I see comments just even opening up the the hint of the discussion that it might not be the worst thing in the world or it’s actually not that bad because it’s s blah blah blah blah blah it makes my
blood boil and I’m just like this is just the most insane cope I’ve ever seen from One Piece readers ever in the history of the 1100 chapters that this story’s been going on so the Sol situation will be talked about later the one good Saving Grace Silver Lining from the whole thing is that Robin got back her iconic haircut because whatever Oda came up with her for Post Time skip was just so clearly worse that that I think he just took any opportunity he could to turn it back to the previous bang style
haircut I’ve seen some people say that well bringing back Saul was a good story way like story setup for Oda to to bring back the old Robin haircut but I don’t think that that was always the intent simply because after seeing this I actually went back and checked out these sketches that Oda was thinking about for post times skips raw designs and I looked at Robin sketches and most of them kept roughly the same haircut with the hair covering her forehead it’s just that Oda ultimately accidentally went
with one of the worst possible hairstyles with her hair pulled back and then at some point or another realized that this was terrible and nobody liked this and is now taking the opportunity to find a good story reason to basically say well here’s why she’s going back so I’m happy with that I think that’s cool if Oda could find some reason to turn Frankie back into a normal human that would be really good too if he could take Chopper away from chibi for him to look back like aing normal like pre-
types skip design that would be great as well so I’ll take whatever just come up with some story reason to to revert these worst character designs back to their old character designs I’ll be happy but overall I did love this chapter simply because the Luffy Loki Dynamic is quickly turning into one of my favorite Dynamics in the entire story and I think Loki could he’s in contention already he could turn into my favorite island specific side character
